The founder of The Home Store, Andy Gianino, has a Ph.D. in Psychology and enjoyed a successful career in his field. When he and his wife decided to invest in building a new home for resale in the 1980’s, he discovered a problem that led him into the modular home industry. People wanted new homes, but there was a shortage of skilled labor to build them, which in turn was driving the prices higher- out of the budgets of most homebuyers. When Andy realized that modular homes were the solution, the Home Store was born. After accumulating years of experience in the industry and building a thriving business centered around the customer, Andy wrote a book, “The Modular Home,” which is a comprehensive handbook for anyone thinking of buying a modular home.
