Why You Will Want to Visit Our Model Home Center
We have New England and the Hudson Valley’s most well-known and frequently visited modular model home center. Located on an I-91 entrance ramp just north of Northampton, Massachusetts, our two modular home models are open Sunday through Thursday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm. One is our Two-Story Colonial, the other our National Award Winning T-Ranch.
We have built our two model homes at our New England modular home store as Modular Display Centers. We put in as many features as we could so you could see and touch as many of our selections as possible. For example, throughout the two models you will find seven different styles of wood moldings (surrounding our windows and doors and along our baseboards) as well as five different styles of interior doors. You can also select from over twenty different cabinetry selections for your kitchen and baths. You will probably find features that you just must have, others that you would like to have but can do without, and still others that won’t interest you at all. After viewing the options displayed in our modular home models, you can look through our many option price books to check out the hundreds of other exciting choices we offer in modular housing plans. We’re very proud of the fact that we offer you more choices to see than any other builder of modular homes in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York.
Our Two-Model Homes at Our Model Home Center

Two-Story Model: 2,480 square feet with 3 or 4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 Baths, a Living Room, Dining Room, Breakfast Nook, and Kitchen. It is attached to a spacious 230 square foot Mudroom and 26′ x 26′ Two-Car Garage. The model features a dramatic vaulted Foyer wrapped in custom oak railings. The Master Bedroom suite has a walk-out bay with triple windows as well as a large Garden Tub to compliment the oversized shower and double sinks. The Dining Room first captures your attention with its dramatic trey ceiling trimmed out in oak crown molding. Your eyes then feast on the Dining Room’s wide board oak floor with its walnut accent border, the oak chair rail decorating the walls, and the wide oak moldings that trim-out the large cottage style windows. The Family Room has custom built-in oak bookcases framing a gorgeous fireplace, itself surrounded by Jade-Green marble. The Kitchen, not to be outdone, has custom oak cabinetry with glass doors and a matching oak oven hood as well as a granite look countertop. And although you will not be readily able to see it, the home is built to the EPA’s Energy Star Home specifications in order to provide exceptional energy efficiency and savings, which is especially helpful in New England and New York. When you complete your tour at our model home center, you will undoubtedly feel that modular homes can be quite spectacular.

T-Ranch Model: 1,650 square feet with 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, a Living Room, Dining Room, and Kitchen. As you approach the house at our model home center, you immediately notice that it is anything but your usual boxy ranch. With its cedar porch and stone fireplace and chimney, it is often described as having a captivating country charm. What you might not notice is that although the home is elevated five feet above the surrounding yard, there is not a single step to the front door. Here is your introduction to the model’s most distinguishing characteristic: it is built according to Universal Design principles. What is most amazing about our Universal Design features is how nearly invisible they are. When you walk into the Living Room and Dining Room you are sure to notice the open floor plan and walk-out bay. What will not immediately capture your attention are the easy reach electrical controls (rocker switches, receptacles, and thermostats), the lever door handles, the 42″ wide hallway, or the 36″ wide doors. As you walk through the Kitchen you will see the kneespace under the Kitchen sink and cooktop to accommodate wheelchair users and anyone who prefers to sit at the countertop preparing food, but until you look more closely you will not see all of the pull-out cabinet and pantry shelves or the easy-to-use appliances. Entering the Hall Bathroom you may notice its spaciousness along with its skylight, but you may not notice the kneespace under the sink or the offset tub/shower anti-scald controls, and you surely won’t realize that the walls along the toilet and tub have been reinforced with 3/4″ plywood for grab bar support. When you complete your tour at our model home center, you will likely feel that you have just seen one of the nicest ranch modular homes in New England and New York. You will also understand why Universally Designed houses are the wave of the future.

New England modular homes from a quality home builder:
When you visit our model home center, you will see first hand the quality of materials and workmanship our modular home manufacturer puts into our homes. Just as you cannot tell the quality of a new car from a picture in a brochure, you cannot tell the quality of the materials and workmanship in a house without seeing and feeling it.
You will meet our modular homes sales staff, which has more experience than any staff in the region with modular homes & builders in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. We can introduce you to the many aspects of building a modular home, including design, pricing, general contracting, dealer and modular home manufacturer selection, etc. We can also answer those questions that might be more specific to your personal situation.

We offer over 450 floor plans for our modular homes in Massachusetts and throughout New England and the Hudson Valley and Long Island, including in-law apartments and additions, each with thousands of optional features. We can also help you design custom modular home plans that will be carefully constructed by our modular home manufacturer, and we won’t charge for our service.
We will provide you with the most complete and detailed pricing in the industry. Our typical turnkey quote is over 60 pages long. This may sound intimidating, but our customers really appreciate it. They prefer to know exactly what they are getting and exactly what they are paying before their house is started. In fact, banks really like us because we do not put our customers and their budgets at risk with allowances.
You will receive a lot of information, and that information will be tailored to your needs. (See list of handouts)
Once you have met with us, we can provide you with more information on the phone or by mail.
